  I've stayed in Chincoteague many times over the last 35 years. This location had fewer mosquitoes by far, which was fantastic. The house is cute and we loved being able to walk to Maddox Blvd for coffee, donuts, and ice cream. The bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms clean. The dining and living rooms were pleasant and spacious. We did have a few issues: the number of flies in and immediately outside of the home was appalling. We couldn't eat a meal or snack on the lovely deck because of the flies. Inside, we had to hang fly paper to minimize the number of flies - we caught dozens in 24 hours. The dishwasher didn't work. When we arrived, many of the dishes that had been put away were greasy and dirty, so we reran the dishwasher on the first day. When it was done washing, the soap hadn't dissolved and everything was still dirty. As a consequence, we ended up hand washing for a group of 8 for the duration of our stay. Finally, the dryer was insanely loud, although functional.

  This house is in a great location for walking to stores and different things in town. Perfect size for my family of 8. Small issue with cleaning when we got there but was corrected quickly and staff was very nice. Dishwasher does not work so that was a tiny problem. Beds are not that comfortable but was ok. Loved the large dining table. Back deck and yard was perfect for our family. Furniture and appliances could be updated. Very very please with the hot water in this house. We was able to take 7 showers back to back and never run out of hot water.

  Blue water is in a wonderful, central location, close to both main street and Maddox so you can walk if you want. The house has a large backyard and very nice deck with tons of seating for eating outside. Inside is laid out very nicely and has nice decor. On the one rainy day there was plenty of room to spread out if we wanted, books to read and puzzles. There was even a little puzzle perfect for the youngest in the group (2.5). Loved it here!

  We had a great stay at Blue Water. It is a nice older home. Very clean and well kept. Kitchen had a keurig which was a plus. Air conditioning worked well. It has an open concept which would be great for a bigger family. We would definitely stay there again.
  The only thing I would like to see added is a hair dryer. Most houses I’ve stayed in have them and we had to go buy one.

  Three generations of our family enjoyed the house and island for a long rainy weekend. The house fit us perfectly with ample room to move around on the main level. The fenced in backyard is huge. I only wish there was a fire pit back there! There are numerous places to grab a bite within walking distance and the beach is only a few miles away. Internet speeds were fast enough to stream content. I have no complaints with the property and would recommend.
