Located on the Chincoteague Bay this waterfront villa is delightful and well maintained and equipped. Large waterfront balcony ,elevators, handicapped ramps, pool and exercise room on site. The villa and Chincoteague Island is inviting to all ages. Main Street is within walking distance with cute shops, art galleries, & great restaurants. The town dates back to the 1600's with lots of history in various museums. Children love the putt - putt golf, go carts and water boats in town. Riding bikes is a favorite pastime. Another mode of transportation is riding the trolley around town. A 10 minute drive will take you to Assateague Island where the famous ponies live and the historic lighthouse is located. There are many biking and walking trails perfect for bird watching. The museums and the fabulous Atlantic Ocean are there to enjoy! Chincoteague and Assateague Islands voted the best beach town by AOL in 2010! Come stay in our villa and enjoy your home away from home.

This is a three bedrooms, two baths, water front condo, overlooking Chincoteague Bay and marina. Amenities include; Towels and bedding are included, Pillows ,Central A/C, W/D, Microwave, 3 TVs, DVDs, Beach Chairs, Beach Towels, Hair Dryer, Iron & Ironing Board, Large Waterfront Balcony, WiFi, Fully Equipped Kitchen, Large Dining Table & additional seating to feed a large crowd. The villa also has a pool and fitness center on site.

Prime season has a 7 night requirement. Off Season has a 3 night minimum and flexibility of changeover day.. Please ask about our cancelation policy. 60 day cancellation prior to occupancy date (100% refund minus processing fee, travel insurance and credit card fee's).

  We have been staying at this condo for the past six years. The location on the second floor near the elevator is a plus for moving in and moving out. There is also a nice corner balcony ( with a tables and plenty of chairs ). This condo is furnished with plenty of seating. One of the main reasons I choose this particular condo is the large sturdy dining table with 8 chairs.
  
  Although this condo is appealing there is always room for improvement. The master bedroom has two double bed that have been in need of new mattresses for the past five years. There is very loud humming in the back bedrooms from the Coast Guard Station next door. The stove front two burners were not working. There have been different minor problems in the past but Harbour Rentals have someone over to take care of the issues quickly.

  My three sisters and I had a beautiful stay! The condo was very large and extremely clean! The rental property was very handicapped accessible with ramps and an elevator. The condo had everything you need! My sister is handicapped so taller toilets and at least one bar would have been perfect. Maybe newer, firmer mattresses would be nice as well. The pool was EXTREMELY DIRTY! Very cloudy with huge hunks of hair and other debris floating in the water. We were there for a week and it never got cleaned. What a shame because we couldn’t use it. Overall, the condo is wonderful! Also the condo advertised 3 tvs with cable. The master bedroom tv never did work and the people at Harbor Rental were no help at all.

  Let’s start with the good: Sunset Bay is a great newer condo complex right outside of darling, historic downtown. The pool is very nice and we really enjoyed it! HOWEVER, this unit is right next to the Coast Guard station with a sewer grinder that is LOUD and runs 24/7. You can hear it SO LOUDLY in 2 of the front bedrooms. The mattresses in all bedrooms are awful and uncomfortable. I knew the bed sizes weren’t optimal and thought we’d make it work but they really need a KING in the master! The condo is very worn. The Berber carpet is dirty and old as is the family room furniture. We couldn’t believe there was NO BLENDER in the kitchen. Who has a beach place without the ability to make frozen blender drinks? My husband drove 25 min to BUY a blender! It was our first vacation at Chincoteague Island and we loved it and especially loved the pristine beach at Assateague, where we saw wild ponies everyday driving in to the beach. It’s only 10 min from the condo. Oh, and instructions about the beach gear closet outside the condo would’ve been helpful.

  Beautiful location. Floors were dirty as our socks and feet would get dirty walking around. Bigger TVs and nicer beds would be great, but we loved the kitchen, dining room and roominess on the balcony. Overall, great stay!! Would definitely stay again!

  We had a group of 8- 4 adults, 4 kids. We assumed the condo would be small and we would all be on top of each other (which we were ok with, because we're family:)) however when we walked in- there were two separate sections to the unit for our families- one room with its own bathroom to the left, and two bedrooms sharing a second bathroom to the right. Plenty of room for our family! The condo is clearly loved and a little "worn in" but was great for our week away. There were a few things that needed to be fixed- one of the bed frames was broken and one of the closet doors was off the track- but otherwise we really liked the condo overall. Property Management super easy to work with- only additional item that always bugs me is having to pay a fee to pay with a credit card. This is how most people pay in today's world- it makes it so much easier!

  We had a lovely stay in Chincoteague with our kids, my brother, and my mother. This condo was true to the photos and description, with a great view and comfortable layout for doing the things we like to do when home: retreating for a nap/reading, playing family games, doing jigsaw puzzles, cooking together, watching a movie together. Though not spotless, the condo was clean. And with signs of being well-lived in, it was definitely pleasant and livable. We did have some challenges getting the temperature agreeable for everyone, as the back 2 bedrooms were warmer than the main living area and master suite. Very convenient location. We walked to a few places on main street, but mostly opted to drive (short drive to everything, easy parking). We enjoyed the beach/visitor center (Toms Cove), Amarin pastries, Mister Whippys soft serve, food/trucks (Better, Taco Pico, Woodys, BYOC), renting scooters, and shopping (especially Flying Fish and the jewelry and wine shop across the street).

  Enjoyable time,! We love visiting Chincoteague and Getaway on the Bay is in a great location. The Sunset Bay condominium complex and docks/ boat slips are right on the Channel. All condos are spacious and have water views.
