  We have rented Pony Swim for many years and continue to enjoy the home and location. There has been little updating in the unit and we’ve noticed that the master bedroom mattress and living room sofa/love seats are well used and are in need of updating. Besides those two item we continue to love spending our yearly beach week at Pony Swim!

  Beautiful view. Great location for viewing ponies and kayaking.
  Unfortunately there is no where to sit and enjoy that view. The queen bed was painful. The couch was uncomfortable and not able to seat my family of 5. Not able to have an adult fully lay down and relax. The porch has an amazing view buts its again nothing comfortable to sit on.
  
  The owner has amazing artwork and a great house layout. Very clean. Harbour rentals was great to work with. Great communication.

  Stayed here several times over the years when the calendar allows. Other places when Pony Swim is n/a. This is by far the best place we have experienced. We no longer go to Chincoteaque unless this property is available
  The property is great - very nicely decorated. Wonderful view.
  We found the couch, which still looks great, to be noticeably uncomfortable. That could be that I have aged :-).
  WiFi was very good - no issues if you bring streamers with you.

  Great house on the water for myself, my husband, and our 3 year old. We loved seeing the wildlife from the deck and dock. Short walk to a park and restaurant, less than 5 minute drive to the main streets with shops and more restaurants, and 15 minute drive to the beach and national park. The house was fully stocked with what you need to enjoy your stay, and very clean. Would definitely go back!

  We really enjoyed staying here. The house was very nice and conveniently located to everything. We had a dock where the guys enjoyed fishing and the girls liked watching.
  The ponies you could see right across the bay with binoculars and in all it was a enjoyable stay. The only complaint I would have was te beds were not very comfortable but other than that, it was a 5 star.

  My family loved the property and the vacation here! Wife said "Thank you for bringing us here!" This is the very center of the Pony Swim roundup event. We were here a month before the roundup, but tour boats were in front of the dock every day showing everyone else where the ponies would swim to. Bring your boat if you have one, the dock is nice and very accessible (town permit required to use the very close launch ramp, $20 for season). Kids caught crabs (sweet and very clean) with the carb traps on the property, fished from the dock, paddled SUP boards across the Assateague channel. Owner has the place beautifully decorated, and the one-off carved Pony is a museum piece. You will truly feel the shoreline experience here, it's like Cape Cod was fifty years ago before everything got built up on top of eachother.
  Very clean and well equipped for a relaxing week. Warning though, the waters all around here are murky due to the tidal action of the Chesapeake, but that makes for plentiful seafood! Lots of shore birds (Isis, egrets, laughing gulls, etc.) on the marsh in front of the decks. A well-behaved laughing gull sat on the railing every morning we had breakfast on the deck; the kids loved giving it a treat or two!
  The Assateague Nation Seashore is minutes away, fishing, surfing, boogie-boarding, and dolphin-watching. Lighthouse is a must-visit. Plenty of dining, a small waterpark great for a day diversion, and very reasonable grocery store. A charming area to visit and this property was a wonderful home base.
  Check in and out was easy. Recycling center is open many hours most days including the weekend. The carport was great, not getting into a sweltering car and having lots of room to store bikes, SUPs and fishing gear in the alcove was handy. Sleeping quarters: cozy master with a queen, crew quarters with 3 twins, living room fold-out twin.
