  This is the perfect house for our multi-generational family's annual beach week in Chincoteague. We are comfortably all arranged in the 3 bedrooms and we definitely need the 2 bathrooms (and the powder room downstairs is a bonus!) Location cannot be beat. Close to everything downtown and on beach road (well, everything that matters, as it is just a block away from the Island Creamery and Sandy Pony Donuts).

  This was our first time renting a house for vacation. The entire process was smooth and transparent. Staying at the Sunshine House was wonderful- it’s on a quiet street but close enough to easily walk downtown to Main Street for shopping and restaurants. And of course it was way to easy to walk to the Creamery every night for ice cream. The house was very clean and well appointed. I loved the kitchen and the convenience of a washer/dryer. We spent many hours on the screen porch playing board games and relaxing.

  This house is one of our favorite homes to stay in while we are on the island. We thoroughly enjoy all the comfort this home provides while allowing us to spread out a little. We love that it is within walking distance to many of our favorite restaurants, ice cream spots, and stores. Our favorite spot is coffee on the screened-in porch. We always check to see if this home is available first.

  Our family has returned to Sunshine House each summer for a very long time. It suits us just great. It's always clean, well cared for; the decor is simple and pleasing. The screen porch is wonderful...we eat our meals out there; it is a perfect distance between beach and town, on a quiet street. The maple tree and the crape myrtle in the back yard are lovely friends.

  We've stayed at this house several times and it's always perfect for our family. Recent upgrades to the kitchen, master suite, and laundry have made it even better. The large rear screened porch is awesome. If you're looking for luxury, it may not be the place for you, but if you're looking for a comfortable house for a family with kids in a central location at a reasonable price, this is it.

  We thought the house was great for our needs. It was close to things in town, and we ended up needing the pharmacy and dollar general unexpectedly. We found the house and it’s contents pretty, tidy and sufficient for our needs. The screened porch was our favorite spot the whole week we were there. We did feel like we left the house cleaner than we found it, because the hardwood floors were dirty and the baseboards and dresser tops could have used dusting, but I don’t know how long the house had been vacant prior to our visit.

  This is a well appointed home with plenty of room to spread out. There is a great screened porch on the back of the house that is great for morning coffee or hanging out with the family. This house is within walking distance to Maddox Blvd and many of the best restaurants and shops. You won't be disappointed.

  We love Chincoteague Island and Sunshine House. Our family has returned every summer for years. The home fits us nicely, and it is charming and comfortable. The screen porch is a delight. The location allows us to bike to the Wildlife Loop and walk to town.
