  We love this place. We make sure to leave it as clean as we found it each time, because we truly wish it was our home. We love the location. As a Wildlife/Bird Photographer, it’s perfect for me. It was a little annoying that yard work was scheduled during our trip, and workers woke up my wife trying to sleep in on vacation. But it wasn’t terrible. We do wish there was a king bed in the main bedroom as well. That may prevent us from going back. But outside of that. We love this place. I miss it already.

  Our family really enjoyed our week at Acorn in August 2022. We liked how convenient it is to the beach road, yet set in a community. The house was very clean and comfortable, and the large kitchen had plenty of cookware, silverware, dishes, and glasses (though no water filter). We loved eating on the big screen porch, too, which felt private. It made traveling easier knowing that linens, toilet paper, and tissues were provided.
  Remember to bring salt, pepper, spices, and either ice cube trays or a bag of ice.
  The folks at Harbour Rentals gave us directions to find the community kayak put-in, but it still wasn’t easy; it might be helpful if exact directions (with a photo) were put into the notebook in the house.

  Very quiet location. House well equipped. Road dusty due to unpaved road. WEB site in error. Beds were queen & full. NOT two queens. Remote fan control didn't work. Enjoyed our week in this house.
