    Incredible location, gorgeous views, a beautifulplace to spend our vacation. Our original booking cancelled the day before we were to arrive, but Harbour rentals came to the rescue and we are so happy with the rental they provided. The house is fairly roomy andhas a welcoming air to it. Itis not too far from town, and yet very quiet and relaxing.I would definitely recommend this house.

    The view was amazing and the interior was clean on arrival. The lack of WiFi and cable TV was a bit of a negative factor. The grounds could use some clean up and the second porch has ripped screening. The private dock was great and the access to the public dock was as well.

    Twin view was "okay". I don't think it's worth what I paid for it. It felt like an old place owned by family or friends-in that case it would have been fine. But offered on the commercial rental market at a high price? Not fine. The bones of the house are good, as is the layout, size, location, view, and dock. Abundance of tables and chairs was convenient. Access to Oyster Bay was fantastic. Breezy days were great on the porch. The housekeeping staff had it clean enough (the dishes, cups, and utensils were dirty but I don't think that's housekeeping's responsibility?). But in many ways this property feels worn out, dated, needing maintenance and TLC. I fully understand that the coastal marine environment is very hard on properties...but still. The crazy part is that the very worst aesthetic aspects of the property could be fixed by simply removing things, which is quick and inexpensive. The huge pile of scrap building materials and derelict possessions beneath the house, the dilapidated raised beds, the broken large round planters, the broken bench we had to drag out of the way (so broken it was barely recognizable as a bench), the dangling wind-speed indicator, the propane cylinder just sitting out front, etc. If a storm surge came through there and just scoured away everything at ground level, the property would be much better off for it. Sitting out a few potted plants near the stairs with plastic shrink wrap and stickers still on them...why bother? Purchasing new plastic stacking chairs was good but why keep the old ones that were chalky and brittle (one snapped) from UV exposure? Master bath renovation was appreciated but the shower valve is plumbed backwards. Aerators on sink faucets so water doesn't splash all over counters? The range hood/microwave situation? The ripped-out screen on the front door. A broken chaise-lounge. Furniture on the bedroom porch too dirty to sit on. I would never again pay the same amount to stay at this property again.
